Think Like a Boss Retreat

San Francisco, CA, USA

SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA

“The loveliness of Paris seems somehow sadly gray
The glory that was Rome is of another day
I’ve been terribly alone and forgotten in Manhattan
I’m going home to my city by the Bay
I left my heart in San Francisco
High on a hill, it calls to me
To be where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars
The morning fog may chill the air, I don’t care
My love waits there in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come home to you, San Francisco
Your golden sun will shine for me”

Have you ever wondered why there was a whole song dedicated to San Francisco California?  Well now here’s your chance to find out! On Thursday Sept 13th- Sunday Sept 16th 2018 Think Like a Boss is taking some Queens to the Bay! Grab your girlfriends and lets explore the famous Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Wine Country, Historical Cable Cars, AND MORE!!

Amenities

On Thursday Sept 13th- Sunday Sept 16th While in San Francisco we’ll be staying at the Posh Galleria Hotel Boutique in downtown San Fran!

Former home of Mark Twain favorite The Occidental Hotel, this historic building marries historic charm with a thoroughly modern style in its latest incarnation as the Galleria Park Hotel. The lobby’s eclectic, modern style (lamps shaped like zebras, a curvy Art Nouveau fireplace) leads to a throwback: the original 1911 marble staircase, set off by a display of ossified antlers.

The 177 guestrooms feature Frette linens, buttery leather headboards and muted green and purple furnishings. Though the rooms may be cozier (starting at 200 square feet), the 11-foot ceilings open up the space. This San Fran sleep is also equipped with mod cons such as 42-inch flat-screens and Keurig coffeemakers. Marble bathrooms indulge with rain showers and LATHER bath products.

DINNER AT FISHERMAN’S WHARF

Our Queens will have a night out dining at the Wharf!  More than 75 percent of San Francisco’s visitors include Fisherman’s Wharf on their itinerary. The Wharf’s famous fishing fleet make for a terrific fish story, while souvenir shops in the waterfront marketplace and historic ships add to the atmosphere. Fishing boats, sea lions basking in the sun, seafood stalls and restaurants, steaming crab cauldrons, family entertainment and sourdough French bread bakeries … you know you’re in world-famous Fisherman’s Wharf. The historic F-Line streetcar and two cable car lines terminate in the area and sightseeing boats and boat charters link to Alcatraz (“The Rock”) , Angel Island and other points around San Francisco Bay.

TRANSPORTATION

Ever ride a national landmark? It’s being done every day in San Francisco. San Francisco is one of the few places in the world people can ride on a national historic landmark. The cable cars are the world’s last permanently operational manually operated cable car system, in the U.S. sense of a tramway whose cars are pulled along by cables embedded in the street.  Refurbished and equipped with new tracks, cables, turnarounds and cable propulsion machinery, they operate as much as they did on August 2, 1873!

The cable cars are easy to board and only cost $7.  This will take you straight to the Wharf, China Town, and other popular stops in the city!

EXCURSIONS

Did you think that was it?  We take our Queens everywhere!! We have a full day planned for excursions.  Just beyond the steel bridge of the Golden Gate and the Victorians of San Francisco, lie 554 acres of protected, untouched Sequoia sempervirens, otherwise known as coastal redwoods. These trees range from 400-to-800 years old and can grow up to 250 feet high, which can make for a spectacular Instagram photo or two. Whether you are an adventure-seeker, an avid photographer or you want to just do what comes naturally, Muir Woods is the perfect addition to your San Francisco trip – whether it’s your first or fifth, it never fails to be memorable in every way.

And of course have some WINE! Our 2nd stop on our full day outing is Wine Country. Mingle and chat with the winemakers first hand, meet the locals, savor the wine, delight in the food, all while making new friends. Sounds fun, doesn’t it We thought so too. Wine Country Tour is the most comprehensive way for you to taste your way through the wine country.
