Brandy Sharrock – Miller
As a Benefit analyst, Brandy does more than sell insurance. With more than 11 years of voluntary and health insurance experience, she’s passionate about creating lasting relationships with new and existing clients. She works with small to medium employers to educate their employees on the usage of their current medical plans, while mitigating risks to both the employer and employee. Through her many roles in the health insurance industry she has worked with both brokers for companies and directly for businesses. Her experience is wide ranging from the public to the private sector, she has done it all. Each client has a unique experience customized for them.
When she isn’t working, you’ll find Brandy reading in a closet to hide from her twin 10 year old boys, 7 year old daughter and husband. Her other hobbies include bike riding, obstacle course running, hanging out with her 5 BFFs, non-profit work (feeding the homeless, raising funds for college bound students and Rotarian work) and scrolling Facebook.
Durrena is an Orange, NJ native, the oldest of 2 on her dad’s side and the youngest of 2 on her mom’s side. She is an artist, flexing her creativity through modeling. As an activist at heart, as our youngest team member, is serving as the voice of the Young People and building her platform to create solutions for our people.
Lastly but certainly not least Durrena considers herself a healer. She is unlearning and relearning the programming of society, leading herself back to Divinity and bringing her community on her journey. Representing the 12th house of the zodiac this Pisces, is translated to an angel on Earth.
Durrena is here trying to put the pieces together, and build an everlasting legacy that will outlive her physical form and serve endless scalp snatching looks with doing it, ya dig.
As a real estate professional, fashion guru, Pop Up Shop Curator ,and lifelong resident in this Newark, Melvin’s goal for Newarkers is to rewrite the narrative and shift their thoughts to key words within real estate, relationships, fashion, and more!
The founder and CEO of Think Like a Boss considers herself a professional dream chaser. Alexandra Bernard-Simmons has mastered both the business and creative world as a successful entrepreneur, author, and entertainer. With her background as a choreographer and overall entertainer, Alexandra has worked with MTV, VH1, BET, Comcast Cable, TRU TV, ABC, and A&E Network to name a few, and she had a role in the Step Up dance movie trilogy. She’s also opened and shared the stage with legends like Bobbie Brown, Biz Markie, Doug-E Fresh, Slick Rick, Naughty By Nature, Mr. Vegas, shot videos with French Montana, and interviewed countless celebrities like Lance Gross, Busta Rhymes, Lamman Rucker, Tobias Truvillian, Yandy Smith, and many more!
Over the years she’s worked with Alec Baldwin, been a guest on Dr.Oz, National TV shows , and been featured by Essence magazine for her fashion sense and traveling spirit via her internationally acclaimed blog @Travelbittenlex. If that’s not enough, she was invited as a contestant on a game show on national TV with Michael Strahan, which she won, showing 6 million viewers that she is a force to be reckoned with!
As CEO of The Evolution of Hip Hop, LLC, she runs her growing Performance Arts company and leads her Think Like a Boss movement. She curates and speaks at events all over the nation , host the Think Like a Boss TV show and Podcast calling upon her experiences in life, corporate America, and the entertainment industry to motivate and inspire individuals to Think Like a Boss!
